Some times people try to knock it out of me, but I believe in music the way some people believe in fairy tales. Maybe the notes I hear, are the same ones they heard, the night they met. Maybe that's how they found each other. Maybe that's how they will find me. I believe that once upon a time, long ago. They heard the music and followed it. " -August Rush
Photo Blog Introduction...
I'm going to share with you a picture a day, that summarizes one of the most exciting adventures from that day. It could be something that happened to me, something that I witnessed, or something that keeps me asking more questions about my faith and love in a God that is beautiful and powerful. I am going to share it with each of you, in hopes that you can share the memories and moments with me on this Journey. Inspired by, Hebrews 12:1.

10.4.12-The Calm within the Storm
So today was pure chaos. No other way to explain it. By 10:00, the time I'm usually done passing medications to all five of my patients, I had not even finished with one patient yet, we had three major emergencies, and I felt like things were being held together only by a thin string, all before 10:00am. Two of my patients were transferred, one because of possible ischemic stroke and another because they were ceasing to breathe. Amongst the chaos, I had a special visitor. My dad stopped by to pick up some medications and just checked to see if he could take me to lunch. Surrounded by patience and grace, I withheld from bursting in to tears of exasperation at that very moment. I was physically exhausted, emotionally weak, and mentally fatigued. I determined that I couldn't go at that moment, that too many people needed me to be able to leave the floor for even 15 minutes. So he called me later and asked me to go on a date with him to get some Chinese food and Sushi. My fortune, above, was appropriate, and I let out a little chuckle when I first read it. What I would have given to be chilling at 1000, nevertheless at any other point during the remaining 10 hours of my shift. Ahh, the life of a nurse.
