| The Heart Shaped Tomato we found in Johnny's garden |
After a goodbye lunch with Josh, we went to Johnny's and made homemade salsa! Regina's recipe was so yummy. It was only appropriate that I found a heart shaped tomato during our cooking endeavors. I think I love this picture, mostly because this girl has stolen my heart! I prayed last year that when I started my new job, that God would send me someone at work to walk beside me during this tough transition and be my source of earthly strength and courage. Needless to say, Regina was also praying for the same thing from God, and so God brought us together. We have shared some pretty remarkable moments over the past year, at work and also away from work. Some call her my "work wife", some call her my napping buddy, but I call us a beautiful friendship.

| Homemade Salsa |
The afternoon was perfect, not only because we shared time together cooking, but because we also shared an afternoon with Josh before he began his new adventure in Boston. We jammed to some pretty awesome music and had some good "little talks". I've mentioned before that this summer was hard because I've had to say goodbye to some pretty amazing people that I've met. I know it's silly to be sad when people leave your life for a little bit of time, because in the end it's a God thing. God has things in store for each of us; He has to take a few things out to make more room for new things. But it is still hard. With each person that has moved on to new adventures this summer, it has gotten harder. This one was hard enough, but the next one will clearly be the hardest. One of my biggest sources of earthly strength is potentially moving on to another adventure, only for three months--but a lot can happen in three months! My heart hurts just thinking about it...
