Photo Blog Introduction...

I'm going to share with you a picture a day, that summarizes one of the most exciting adventures from that day. It could be something that happened to me, something that I witnessed, or something that keeps me asking more questions about my faith and love in a God that is beautiful and powerful. I am going to share it with each of you, in hopes that you can share the memories and moments with me on this Journey. Inspired by, Hebrews 12:1.

8.18.12-Mason Jars full 'o Love!

So we drove to Pittsburgh to go to Nichole's Wedding Shower and Bachelorette Party Festivities.  On the way, we stopped just outside of the final destination in glorious Pittsburgh for lunch.  We first started out in Deutch-land sketch-o-ville Pittsburgh, next to the 'Hallelujah Anyhow Barber Shop'.  True story.  We got back in the car and headed towards 'Angry Johnny's' because we just felt that it would be a better option for us.  On the way we found 'Local' and just decided to eat there instead.  (Little did we know, we were going to there later that night for a different kind of party).  It was right on the street, with open windows, and all you can drink mimosas!

Then we went to the shower and shared an afternoon with family and friends, eating yummy food, and sharing in anticipation for the big day!
There were such cute ideas, all brought to the party by Nichole's cousin, Bethany.  Then we all went to dinner at Azul Bar & Cantina.  Basically we just ate all day, whatever was in front of us...

I think I realized during the shower that I love Sunflowers.  I love them just as much as Tiger Lilies, which is a lot to say because no flower, at least that's how it used to be, is more beautiful.
But Sunflowers have a resilience to them, a towering strength about them to radiates beauty. There's something so beautiful about seeing a field of stalks of Sunflowers, all taking a beating from the fierce sun, but standing strong even without water or shade.  Their brightness radiates from a distance.  It's something to be desired, even if they are just a flower.

These ladies are a good time.  We have some pretty wild stories to place in our memory books from this weekend.  From pictures with 10 random guys, push-ups, putting on makeup on random men in a bar, dancing with sketch-dude, rad girl fights, cars that make funny noises, GPS machines that take us the most obscene routes possible, car sickness, and deadines, not to mention bonding over a common destinations and desires.  I love 'em something fierce!
