Photo Blog Introduction...

I'm going to share with you a picture a day, that summarizes one of the most exciting adventures from that day. It could be something that happened to me, something that I witnessed, or something that keeps me asking more questions about my faith and love in a God that is beautiful and powerful. I am going to share it with each of you, in hopes that you can share the memories and moments with me on this Journey. Inspired by, Hebrews 12:1.

4.1.12-Rise Up

Rise up!
I don't hate the way things were; in fact I'm glad they were the way they were.
Without a valley, you don't have a mountaintop.
Without hate, you don't have love.
Without failure, you don't have triumph.
Seriously, some traditions should never change,
even if they mean breaking into dark memories and pushing past fatigue and exhaustion so that you can make them into memories of gold.
I ask not for a lighter burden, but for broader shoulders.
Jewish Proverb

 Rise Up, Eddie Vedder
Such is the way of the world
You can never know
Just where to put all your faith
And how will it grow

Gonna rise up
Burning back holes in dark memories
Gonna rise up
Turning mistakes into gold

Such is the passage of time
Too fast to fold
And suddenly swallowed by signs
Low and behold

Gonna rise up
Find my direction magnetically
Gonna rise up
Throw down my ace in the hole
