A Beautiful Mess
Each year some new heart-
finally hears...

finally knows love.
I think the best Christmas Eve Story is from some years ago...you may have been there with me. If so, enjoy and reminisce.
I think I was still in high school, junior maybe? Anyways, it was Christmas Eve, and I was all dressed up in my black pants, maroon Handbell Choir shirt, and I was ready to take on another years' Christmas Eve Service. The service was fine, the handbells were okay, I'm sure I missed a note or too. We came to the Candle Lighting Ceremony where we sing, "Silent Night". The candles were slowly being lit, and nothing out of the unusual was occuring. It was closer and closer to the time where I got to open my Christmas Eve present. When we came to the verse, "Love's pure light, radiant, beams from thy holy face with the dawn of redeeming grace..." when out of no where a man jumps up on the other side of the church and screams, "Jesus!". Of course we all look up, and to our surprise, his head was on fire!! Well, his hair was. Of course I didn't know whether to laugh or not, but I did. And now, EVERY Christmas I can't sing this line, because I have to control the laughter within
